Taking Notice

As I started to lose weight, I wondered when the people that I'm around every day would start to notice. I was actually a little disappointed when I hit about 25 pounds lost and not many people said anything. I got over that pretty quickly because I reminded myself that wasn't why I was going through this lifestyle change. I was doing it for myself and my family.

But then all of the sudden I have people asking about my weight loss every time I turn around. I had a meeting last night with a group of people I see regularly during the hockey season, but hadn't seen in about a month, and I was probably asked about 10 times about how much weight I had lost, and how I had lost it. And then today at work has been the same thing. I'm not sure if it's something I wore or what. And I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but the extra attention has been kind of nice!

  3. I know the feeling. It's a joy to see their faces of disappoinment when you answer... How did you loose the weight? "Well, eat less and exercise more"
